The CardioDetect™ family

The rapid tests h-FABP (heart-type fatty acid-binding protein) are available as lab (h-FABP)and combi (h-FABP + Troponin I). Together with the reader for rapid quantification they represent the product family of CardioDetect™, which is marketed by TRIMEDIS in India and other countries in SE Asia.

CardioDetect™ lab h-FABP

	Exclusively to clarify an early AMI.
	It detects the early marker h-FABP in blood, serum or plasma.
	Cardiodetect™lab is made for professional use only.
	h-FABP can detect a re-infarction after 24 hrs due to its diagnostic window.

CardioDetect™ combi

	Additional to h-FABP it can detect the late marker Troponin I.
	For the early and late clarification of an AMI.
	The combination of the 2 markers increases the Negative Predictive Value (NPV) up to 98%.

The first test which can proof evidence of AMI for the complete relevant period. The test takes it benefit from the marker combination of h-FABP (heart-type fatty acid-binding protein) and cardiac Troponin l.

h-FABP increases very shortly after the onset of AMI. It perfectly complements the traditional gold standard Troponin.
